As a Symantec-designated Global Strategic Partner, HP provides a global sales channel for Symantec's volume license programs. HP Software Licensing & Management Solutions offers two all-inclusive licensing programs, both of which deliver substantial cost savings and flexible purchasing options. We'll help you select the program that best suits your needs.

Value License Program

This is a simple, transactional plan that provides volume incentives for orders of as few as one server or 10 desktop licenses and rewards the purchase of multiple product types within a product family. As a certificate-based program, it is ideal for small-to-mid-size companies. You simply purchase a media pack and the number of licenses required, then receive an electronic license certificate directly from Symantec. Special pricing for academic institutions is also available.

Value License Program Levels

Bands (pricing levels) are determined by the number of licenses to be purchased on an upfront purchase order. Once you've determined the number of (Americas) licenses you'll be purchasing, look for it in the list below to determine your band. For information on specific discounts for each band level, contact HP Software Licensing & Management Solutions at 1-800-597-4622, Option 3.

  • 1-9 Licenses = Band S
  • 10-24 Licenses = Band A
  • 25-99 Licenses = Band B
  • 100-249 Licenses = Band C
  • 250-499 Licenses = Band D
  • 500-1,999 Licenses = Band E
  • 2,000+ Licenses = Band F

Elite License Program

This contractual plan allows consistent pricing over the contract term. Depending on your needs, you can choose the "Commit" option to immediately maximize your two-year volume discounts via an upfront purchasing commitment. Or you can choose the "Forecast" two-year purchasing model to minimize initial outlays for your licensing requirements.

Elite License Program Levels

To participate in the Elite Program under the Commit option, you make a minimum up-front purchase equivalent to at least Band A in the chart below. Under the Forecast option, you forecast your purchases at a minimum Band A level, then make an initial purchase equaling 25% of that forecast. Actual purchases under the Forecast option are compared with forecasts and reviewed on an annual basis; if purchases do not exceed 60% of the forecast, adjustments to tiered pricing arrangements are made.

  • US$75,000 MSRP = Min. Band A
  • US$125,000 MSRP =  Min. Band B
  • US$175,000 MSRP = Min. Band C
