VMworld 2009 will be held from August 31-September 3 2009 in San Francisco. HP will have a strong presence at this event with high level executives including Ann Livermore, Executive Vice President, Technology Solutions Group, Mark Potter, SVP & GM, ESS Infrastructure Software and Blades, and Robb Rasmussen, VP & GM, Applications Services, EDS, an HP Company.

At its booth and breakout sessions, HP will demonstrate how customers can double their ROI from VMware with HP by building a virtual infrastructure instead of just virtualising servers. Demos will feature BladeSystem Matrix, VDI, storage featuring LeftHand Networks, ProCurve, and HP services. There will also be an NDA room showcasing soon-to-be-released HP solutions.

HP customers and partners can save US$400 on a full conference pass until August 30 by using HP discount code HPEB2009. At the event, qualified customers can register to win prizes including a virtualisation assessment valued at US$7,800, an HP notebook, and a US$2,000 American Express card. Customers can also take advantage of special virtualisation bundles and promotions.

Be sure to register for the entire HP breakout and Keynote sessions using the session ID numbers below.
