Audience

This Webcast is intended for IT professionals – both software developers and system administrators – who want to understand HP-UX 11i virtualisation software.

Objectives

This Webcast's objective is to help HP-UX 11i system administrators and software developers understand virtualisation technologies so they can deploy the technology to their advantage and, where appropriate, deploy it for their customers and end users.
Applications that work on an HP-UX 11i system will work in partitions on HP-UX 11i in the exact same way. Because there are no special programming requirements for applications to work in virtualised environments with HP-UX 11i, developers' interest is primarily for their own use in test/dev systems and for awareness and confidence needed when the applications are deployed in partitions for end users.
