With increasing demands for user productivity and efficiency, ease of use is a key product requirement for our customers. With this in mind, HP StorageWorks applies a structured methodology called User Centered Design (UCD) during product development.
UCD enables customers to participate in the development process helping to create highly usable designs. This simplifies the experiences people have when interacting with HP StorageWorks products. Today, storage product designs created through UCD work to:

- Reduce the need for user training and support
- Decrease the probability of user error
