The Mobility Market
Analysts have indicated that 2009 and 2010 will be substantial
years for mobility, with major advances that will affect what
type of device we carry and how we work and play. Reports
indicate that worldwide sales of Smartphones to end users
reached 38.1 million units for the last quarter of 2008, an
increase of 3.7 per cent over the same period in 2007. Some
analysts believe that the mobile industry is likely to fare the
current global economic downturn better than many other
industries.
