A: Warranty is from HP and is the same warranty as on any DL320G5p, DL380G5, or DL380G6 server, as follows:
- DL320G5p – “3-1-1” = 3 years parts, 1 year labor, 1 year onsite
- DL380G5 – “3-3-3” = 3 years parts, 3 years labor, 3 years onsite
- DL380G6 – “3-3-3” = 3 years parts, 3 years labor, 3 years onsite
- Q: What HP service options are available for these servers?
A: These servers can be supported by a full range of HP service plans, including HP Carepacks and custom service packages (available for quoting via your HP services team). Please refer to the HP Quickspecs for each of these server models for specific service offerings and HP Carepack part numbers.
- Q: The DL380G6 configuration lists an 8GB USB disk drive.
- Do I need that to run the Cisco UC applications?
- Will any 8GB USB drive work?
A: Yes, an 8GB USB key is required. HP has included a qualified USB drive (HP 3rd party option PN AX728A) in these DL380G6 configurations in order to support the Cisco UC applications. Cisco requires this specific model USB key in order to operate correctly. Other than HP 3rd party option PN AX728A, no other 8GB USB keys are supported at this time.
- Q: What is the anticipated lifecycle for each of these server PNs?
A: The “HP MCS Equivalent Ordering Information Quick Glance” table provides the estimated HP EOL of these SKUs. As with all HP Proliant servers, services spare parts will be available for 5 years following the HP EOL of the specific server model.
