Trade-in credits

Trade up from running Solaris on Sun servers to HP-UX 11i v3 on HP Integrity servers and you can get deep discounts on HP-UX. Get 85 percent off the usual price of HP-UX 11i v3 BOE or 50 percent off HP-UX 11i v3 VSE-OE. The total quantity of discounted licenses equals the lesser of the number of processor cores either in the trade-in Sun server or in the new HP Integrity server and must be of an equivalent size to the Solaris trade-in.

Microsoft SQL Server per server license promotion
HP will sell Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition under a license priced to appeal to small groups of users. The new license includes all the functionality of SQL Server Enterprise Edition, but for a smaller community. The new “Server + CAL (Client Access License)” license gives new customers a much lower entry level price for SQL Server used for the business intelligence and data analysis applications frequently implemented on Integrity systems.
In addition, HP offers a limited time, introductory credit of up to 100% of the list price for Microsoft SQL Server lowering the system list price (server + Windows Server + SQL Server) by as much as 15%, compared to buying an HP Integrity system and SQL Server separately. This promotion extends the offer currently available for SQL purchased with Integrity Superdome, rx8640 or rx7640 to the Integrity BL870c and rx6600 servers.
