We’re extending HP Thermal Logic technology from IT systems to broader environmental monitoring and control across the facility. We’ll eventually expand to include third-party IT and data center systems, enabling all hardware products to speak the same language and report the same way. We’re also adding monitoring capabilities to HP Data Center Environmental Edge to deliver temperature, humidity, pressure and power reporting on your facility.

Most HP ProLiant G6 servers feature a “sea of sensors” to monitor each server’s internal environment. They intelligently manage power to major components in real time. Information can be gathered for a group of servers over time by HP Insight Control with Power Manager. It’s then integrated into the HP Data Center Smart Grid. This allows IT administrators to set power caps for groups of ProLiant ML and DL servers, as well as for groups of HP BladeSystem enclosures.
