HPCwire 2005 Editors' Choice 'Most Innovative Storage Technology Vendor'
Award given to HP for the StorageWorks Scalable File Share (HP SFS) based on Lustre™ Technology from Cluster File Systems, Inc.

The HPCwire 2005 Editors' Choice 'Most Innovative Storage Technology Vendor' Award has been presented to HP for the StorageWorks Scalable File Share (HP SFS) based on Lustre™ Technology from Cluster File Systems, Inc.

"The readers and editors of HPCwire are looking for groundbreaking advances in technology that benefit high performance computing," said Tom Tabor, publisher of HPCwire. "The HP StorageWorks Scalable File Share based on Lustre™ Technology from Cluster File Systems, Inc. is a breakthrough storage technology that solves the I/O bottleneck typically found with Linux clusters requiring scalable storage."

HP SFS with StorageWorks SFS20 disk technology offers customers potentially unlimited scalable storage capacity, and with the newest version customers can now scale from 2-64 servers and enjoy bandwidth up to 35 gigabytes per second - 3X the bandwidth at half the price of scalable NFS offerings.
