Fact 6:  Collaborative partnerships matter to HP.  Last year, the largest company in the world, Wal-Mart, named HP their "Technology Supplier of the Year"

  • "This recognition of HP is a tribute to the organization, its people and its products," said Linda Dillman, executive vice president and chief information officer, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. "This is an honor reserved for only a few selected suppliers. It singles out the best of the best."
  • Wal-Mart has deployed HP technology in its headquarters, all of its distribution centers and hundreds of its stores worldwide, including its Supercenters, Neighborhood Markets and SAM'S CLUBS. Working with Wal-Mart for 15 years, HP provides PCs, UNIX servers, HP OpenView management software, storage and professional services, in addition to overseeing several major IT projects for Wal-Mart per year.

Fact 7:  Customers value HP products.  HP Integrity and HP ProLiant Servers won “Favorite Server” awards in 2004
