HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA meets Oracle Snapshot Technologies Requirement

As a member of the Oracle Storage Compatibility Program (OSCP) , HP successfully completed all test requirements stated in Oracle's snapshot (split-mirroring) test suite.

HP tested selected configurations, verified results and supports the following combinations of  HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA with the specified Oracle server releases:

HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA is a local replication product for the EVA3000 and EVA5000 arrays providing snapshot ,clone set-up and management.  HP Business Copy EVA creates point-in-time copies of storage volumes using the snapshot and cloning capabilities of the array firmware.  HP StorageWorks Business Copy EVA key features include:

• Creating a snapshot of the source –based on business needs.
• Enabling efficient storage administration through an intuitive, easy to use management interface, simplifying and automating manual tasks such as scripting.
• Creating custom scripts for each individual host system from a centrally located management server.
• Creating up to seven local copies of data, increasing productivity and overall business continuity.
