Demand more application availability - and still maintain your service level objectives

The HP Serviceguard suite of high availability and disaster-tolerant solutions on HP-UX 11i and Linux operating systems enable companies to synchronize their business and IT to capitalize on change. Keeping a business up and running at lower cost is a constant challenge for customers large and small.

HP can address these critical business issues with its Virtual Server Environment.  Serviceguard is integrated with technologies such as HP Workload Manager, allowing application availability while maintaining service level objectives from partitions in a single server all the way up to multiple data centers. From the simplest to the most complex IT environment, HP's solutions offer the best choices for its customers.

High availability solutions

HP offers a complete suite of high availability solutions and integrated infrastructure technologies and services to ensure high levels of system availability for business-critical applications running on HP-UX 11i and Linux.

Disaster tolerant solutions

HP provides solutions that protect against site-wide outages.  Whereas high availability solutions are designed with the local cluster in mind, disaster tolerant solutions (DTS) ensure data integrity beyond the local cluster.  In other words, a DTS can span unlimited distances and fails over applications and data in the event an entire data center goes down.
