- Lower your the cost and complexity of implementing shared Storage. Storage is now SASSY! With the new StorageWorks MSA2000sa customers can economically build shared storage environments without having to invest in a Storage Area Network (SAN). HP’s new Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) connected storage shares storage just like a SAN but does not require the use of a Fibre Channel or iSCSI fabric. Also in addition to traditional SAS and SATA drives for the MSA 2000sa HP is also offering HP’s Midline portfolio of reliable drives, tailored for high capacity and moderate workloads. These drives offer two new capacity points, 1TB and 750GB 7.2k 3.5”. This new offering provides customers with increased data availability, including dual-port capability which provides a redundant data path from the controller to the drive.

- Extending the robust HP BladeSystem c-Class interconnect portfolio with the QLogic QMH4062 1GbE iSCSI Adapter and Brocade 8Gb SAN Switch.
- Flexible and easy to control HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO2) v1.60, customers have access to enhancements to allow better overall performance such as expanded Remote Insight Board Command Language (RIBCL) capabilities that allow you easier access to secure connection over the network, enhanced alerts on iLO configuration changes via HPONCFG, and various Command Line Protocol (CLP) user account enhancements.

| The QMH4062 represents the most advanced iSCSI initiator technology available for blades. This dual port, IPv6 compliant Gigabit Ethernet iSCSI initiator mezzanine is optimized for high performance iSCSI traffic from an HP BladeSystem c-Class ProLiant server within either a Microsoft or Linux environment. It is an alternative to less integrated Ethernet iSCSI offerings and often more costly non TCP/IP implementations. It is supported on all ProLiant c-Class servers, all mezzanine slots; multiple adapters per sever. |
