The HP Integrity Solution for Oracle Database is a set of integrated server/storage configurations optimized to run Oracle Database 10g. Customers can choose Integrity rx2660 servers or BL860c blades with up to 4 Itanium processors. High-availability clustering is available using HP ServiceGuard. With it, customers can leverage the spare processing power in the cluster for non-critical applications or test/development cycles.
Blade-based configurations can be housed in a common frame with other applications or additional storage. This makes the solution ideal for businesses that require their database to be mission-critical, but coexist with an existing blade infrastructure. The solution is also compatible with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
