| HP Serviceguard for Linux - Product Discontinuance Announcement Hewlett-Packard (HP) is announcing product discontinuance of HP Serviceguard for Linux (for HP Integrity, HP ProLiant and supported 3rd party x86 class servers), as of April 27, 2009. Serviceguard for Linux A.11.19 is the final release of the product. The product will continue to be available for sale for a limited period of time and support will be provided for the timeframe as mentioned in the documents listed below. For more information on the discontinuance, transition plan and future support plans, please refer to the documents listed below.

SAP applications on HP-UX after 2008
In December 2007 SAP informed all SAP and HP customers on upcoming changes for SAP solutions on HP 9000 (PA-RISC) platform taking place in 2009. From January 1, 2009 onwards, SAP will not release any new versions of SAP applications based on the HP 9000 (PA-RISC) platform.
In collaboration SAP and HP will continue to support all new SAP releases on our HP Integrity HP-UX platform. In addition HP continues to support your current environment on the HP 9000 platform for HP-UX 11i v1, v2, and v3 through December 31, 2013. HP will support you and provide a clear and smooth transition plan to the value and performance provided by our industry-leading line of the HP Integrity servers.
