HP approved configurations for Oracle Applications are server, storage and peripheral configuration examples created by HP engineers trained in the design, configuration and tuning of Oracle Application environments. They are meant as guidelines to assist you in building a system to meet your specific business requirements. Three paradigms are used for the examples; entry, consolidation and rapid growth. To address the diversity of business requirements and varying objectives for cost, continuity, security and efficiency, configurations have been developed for small and medium businesses to address entry, consolidation and rapid growth scenarios.
