This solution provides detailed test results of an SAP 2004 and BW 3.5 environment deployed on ProLiant Servers running Windows and MS-SQL Server 2005 with EVA storage.  It is ideally suited to SAP users that are either looking to deploy an SAP Business Warehouse; or those that have done so and are interested in learning some test-proven best practices and optimization techniques.

The test results provide the basis for a series of explicit best practices, including sizing, design recommendations, and deployment of the key components of the SAP environment, the Business Warehouse, and the entire HP server/storage infrastructure.  In addition, there is extensive information describing the techniques for achieving optimal performance for both the data extraction and the ensuing Business Warehouse load, using both Infocubes and the Operational Data Store (ODS).
