HP has recently acquired Silverwire Holding AG (a merging of FotoWire, ShareAPhoto and Silverlab) and Axiom Connection Ltd. Through these acquisitions HP will provide retailers more efficient photo services with expanded remote management and networking capabilities and a more seamless experience for customers.
Acquisition background information
Silverwire’s software serves as the “connector” of a retailer’s photo center, linking a retailer’s photo assets or equipment to improve workflow.
Axiom Connection, recently acquired by Silverwire, helps retailers up-sell and maximize their return on investment by combining Remote Kiosk Management tools and Axiom’s new Digital Signage technology.
