The HP Virtual Private Network (VPN) and Internet Protocol (IP) Centrex solution allows a service provider to consolidate voice, data, and multimedia communications on a packet-switched IP infrastructure and extend these packetized services to lucrative corporate customers. In essence, the solution allows service providers to be a service bureau for a corporate customer's voice, data, and multimedia transmission needs. Successfully deployed worldwide, the HP solution comprises the NetCentrex Call Control Server (CCS) SoftSwitch, Atos Origin Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) VPN, IP Centrex and Web-based provisioning applications, is deployed on HP OpenCall Service Platform, powered by HP hardware, and integrated and supported by HP Services.
