HP’s extensive Linux distribution support portfolio now includes Debian Linux. Debian development at HP dates back to 1995 and places us in a unique position to provide capabilities that
encourage innovation and perpetuate use of free operating systems.

The Debian Project is well respected and strong in the open source development community.  HP’s significant expertise with Debian stems from internal use and expertise by current and former employees who are active member participants with Debian committee projects.

HP capitalizes on the strength of Debian in vertical markets such as telco, health care, retail, and manufacturing, by developing extensions and supporting capabilities that address unique customer requirements.
