SteelEye's LifeKeeper for Linux is targeted at the growing number of companies that are realigning their businesses with the new Web economy. LifeKeeper can cluster up to 32 nodes in a single cluster. It works with a variety of attached storage devices including SCSI connected, Fiber attached, NAS devices. LifeKeeper also provides a data replication solution - LifeKeeper data replication. LifeKeeper data replication can mirror data over a LAN and WAN allowing customers to provide both local area high availability as well as geographically dispersed failover for disaster recovery. In addition to these features LifeKeeper has a number packaged agents for monitoring and failure recovery for most major applications, including all the major database solutions, mail and messaging products as well as other mission critical applications like SAP.
