The Smart Setup Scripting Toolkit for Windows supports the Integrity servers rx1620, rx2620, rx2660, rx4640, rx3600, rx6600, rx7620, rx7640, rx8620, rx8640, and Superdome (sx1000 and sx2000) servers. The Smart Setup Scripting Toolkit for Linux supports the Integrity servers BL860c, rx1620, rx2620, rx2660, rx4640, rx3600, rx6600.

Q4. Do I need Smart Setup to use the Toolkit? |

A4. The Smart Setup Scripting Toolkit does not require the use of the Integrity Foundation Pack Smart Setup CDs. However, the Smart Setup CDs contain drivers and utilities that enhance the functionality of the target server. These drivers and utilities can be copied to the custom installation CD or to the shared network drive.

A5. Yes. The Smart Setup Scripting Toolkit is a deployment tool that relies on the unattended installation capabilities of the executable file that it runs to deploy an operating system or install an application onto a target system. A7. Yes, the Pre-boot eXecution Environment (PXE) is a feature that allows a server to boot from a remote PXE-enabled server. The source server must be configured with a PXE capable image, and the target server must be enabled for PXE (default for Integrity servers is PXE enabled).
