HP VIS for SAP Business Suite supports HP-UX, Linux and Windows.  The operating systems are centrally deployed, managed and monitored, providing a single virtual view of your server landscape. Standard deployment tools are provided with HP server technology and heterogeneous combinations of architectures are supported to enable an adaptive infrastructure.

As part of the HP Adaptive Infrastructure for SAP the HP Virtual Server Environment consists of a pool of multi-operating system, dynamically sizeable servers. Each can grow, or shrink, based on service level objectives and business needs. An automated, goal-based policy engine handles the organization and management of hardware resources on a physical and virtual layer, supporting dynamic provisioning of server capacity.
