Secure your end-to-end IT infrastructure
Trusted infrastructures is one of the three pillars of our security strategy. Today HP offers trustworthy infrastructure solutions that encompass the design of inter- and intra- enterprise security solutions. System, device, storage and network security capabilities are built into our offerings to help protect the availability, integrity and confidentiality of data and processes.

HP’s strategic approach is to move from today’s trustworthy infrastructure capability to that of truly trusted infrastructures by working with others in the industry to set new standards for platforms, operating systems and applications. These will create the building blocks that underpin truly trusted infrastructures. HP’s strategic effort to drive industry standards in this space includes our role in the Trusted Computing Group (TCG). Security should be built-in, not bolted on, at the platform level, at the network level and in the very processes used for developing systems.

We can accomplish part of our goal today, providing secure workstation and notebook solutions that use the TCG Trusted Platform Module (TPM). The work of the TCG and follow-on development by HP is already bringing valuable hardware solutions with enhanced security features to the market in HP’s ProtectTools product suite.
