The Personal Call Collector (PCC) is a powerful solution that captures attempted/missed calls when a mobile user is out of coverage, busy, not reachable or no voice mail is left. The system notifies the called party with the date and time of the calls, number of attempted/missed calls and delivers the information via a short message. For subscribers using voice mail, the solution informs the user when someone didn’t leave a voice message. This missed call alerts solution enables operators to substantially increase mobile voice revenues by attempting to increase the call back rate after such missed calls.
This solution features:
- Support for calling party notification once the called party is available again, even further increasing the changes for call completion.
- PCC alerts on attempted/missed voice calls or video calls. As an option, the subscriber receives voicemail and missed call alerts while using mobile telephony services in his/her home country and only missed call alerts while roaming in foreign networks.
- The solution enables the user to configure his/her personal PCC environment by SMS, complete with preference settings (such as the maximum number of messages retained or temporarily switch on/off the service).
- Simplified integration with most voicemail systems, but is independent from them and enables the functionality for both non-voice mail and voice mail subscribers at the same cost. Incorporates SMS termination functionality for offloading notification traffic from current SMSC infrastructure.
