HP’s Click to Connect (C2C) solution creates new markets and revenues for operators and service providers beyond the conventional conferencing business. By using HP C2C, business users can arrange teleconferences more easily than ever before. Consumers, too, can get friends together on the same line with few clicks using any device.
Current conferencing applications require the organizer to send out an invite with date, time, and dial-in information. Participants must remember the conference bridge dial-in information, as well as the date and time of the meeting.
The HP Click-To-Connect solution enables an organizer to easily set up a group call and connect with desired participants in a few seconds using any device, or book a scheduled conference in no time. The system calls all participants instantly or at a pre-set date and time, and automatically notifies participants of upcoming calls. The organizer simply chooses members from a group list on the device, and decides on an instant or future call, which requires input of the desired time and date. The system takes care of calling all participants instantly or at the pre-set date and time; no need to distribute PIN codes to participants. Once the conference is booked, the system will also send out reminders with attachments and update the subscriber's calendar and call all participants at the right date and time.. The organizer is also able to monitor the call's status during or after calls to determine who is online and who is not, invite new persons, or drop attendees.
