Fact 4: Sun Solaris and other proprietary UNIX platform customers can transition easily to a standards-based HP offering [4] |

- Recently, HP held a contest to see how fast a customer could migrate from Sun Solaris to an HP Integrity solution. [5] The record produced by the winning customer was 2 minutes and 47 seconds to completely migrate a 100GB Oracle 10g database from Solaris to the HP-UX 11i/Integrity environment.
